Kylee Atwood (TURTLE/COURTIER/CHEF) is eleven years old and in sixth grade. She has been performing in plays for the last year. She played Nala in the Lion King Jr and Margo in Legally Blonde Jr. She is excited to continue performing.
Rachel Buckwalter (FLOTSAM/SNAIL/CHEF) is an 11 year-old middle schooler who is grateful for the chance to be a part of Disney’s The Little Mermaid! She is very excited for her 10th Limelight production. Some of Rachel’s favorite past roles are Zazu in Disney’s The Lion King, Jr. and Little Cosette in Les Misérables: School Edition. In her free time, Rachel enjoys dancing, traveling and horseback riding. Rachel thanks Emma and Christian for giving her this opportunity and her family for their love and support!
Ember Bradley (CARP/CLAM/BUTLER) is 12-years old, in sixth grade, and her school’s Student Council Activity Director. Her favorite roles were playing Aladdin in Aladdin and Scar in the Lion King. Her dream role is Mayzie in Seussical. She would like to thank Kylee Atwood for doing productions with her and her family for their support. She likes to roller skate, sing, and act.
Janalynn Corbett (AQUATA/ARISTA/FLYING FISH//MAID/PRINCESS) is 14 and a Freshman at Perry High School. This is her third show at Limelight. Some of her favorite roles include Ensemble in Mean Girls: School Edition, Ensemble in Les Misérables: School Edition, Jan in Grease: School Edition, and Matilda in Matilda Jr. Janalynn would like to thank the directors and the cast for making this show possible, and her parents and her brother Joey for supporting her.
Joey Corbett (KING TRITON) is 16 and a Junior at Perry High School. This is his third show at Limelight. Some of his favorite past roles include Kevin G. in Mean Girls: School Edition, Ensemble in Les Misérables: School Edition, Bill Sikes in Oliver Jr., Bill Austin in Mamma Mia, and Zazu in Lion King Jr. Joey is also a member of his school improv troupe: the Perrywinkles. He thanks his parents and sister, Janalynn, for supporting him.
Emma Coxon (WATER/LIME FISH/CAN CAN) is a freshman at Red Mountain High School where she is active in the choir and dance programs. She has been dancing since the age of five, but she is new to theatre as of a few months ago. This is Emma’s third show at Limelight; she was previously Pearl in These Shining Lives and Liz in Chicago. Emma would like to thank her family and friends for their support and Limelight for the opportunity to be part of The Little Mermaid.
Abigail Drake (ADELLA/FLYING FISH/MAID/PRINCESS) is 13 years old and in 8th grade at Taylor Junior High. Besides theatre, she plays the trumpet in band and enjoys drawing. This is her 3rd year at Studio 3 and she has done 2 productions with Limelight. The shows she has done at the studio are Emma: A Pop Musical ( Ms. Bates) and Chicago (ensemble). She is thankful for all her friends and family and is so thankful for this opportunity and adventure under the sea!! Thanks to this studio and Emma!!
Paige Erdmann (URSULA/WATER/BLUE FISH/CAN CAN) is a 17 year old senior in high school. Some of her recent roles include, Velma Kelly in Chicago(Limelight), Gretchen Weiners in Mean girls (Limelight), Marcy Park in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling bee (AYT), and Janet Van de Graaf in The Drowsy Chaperone (Limelight). Paige would like to thank the whole Little Mermaid directing team for this amazing opportunity!
Shayla Forero (URSULA/WATER/BLUE FISH/CAN CAN) is a freshman at Chandler HS, she has been dancing and performing since the age of 2. Some of her favorite roles include 13 (Lucy), Bring It On (Eva), Little Women (Jo – AriZoni nomination), Freaky Friday (Ellie), Chicago (June), and The Play That Goes Wrong (Annie). She is excited to play Ursula and wants to thank Emma and the rest of the directing team for this awesome opportunity.
Abigayle Groves (ARIEL) has performed in musicals since age 11 and this is her 4 th show with Limelight. She is a Senior at CHS in the Advanced Performing Arts Company, Disney party princess at the Pink Teapot in Gilbert, loves catnaps with her peach tabby, Quigley, and is plans to pursue musical theater after graduation. Hailey Halterman (ANDRINA/JELLYFISH/MAID/PRINCESS) is a junior at Highland High School and has been doing theater for many years. Some of her recent shows include: Frozen at HHS, Beauty and the Beast at CGCC, Christmas Carol at CGCC, Tarzan at AYT, and Newsies at Limelight. At school, she runs on the Cross Country and Track teams and is heavily involved in her choir program. She would like to thank her parents for supporting her in everything she does!
Maylee Hauenstein (ATINA/SQUID/MAID/PRINCESS) is 13 years old and in 8th grade. She has been doing shows since she was 8 years old, and her favorite shows that she has been in are Into the Woods jr and Beauty in the Beast Jr. Maylee also loves shopping, reading, and hanging out with friends. Maylee is very thankful for her family and friends.
Aspen Hyatt (AQUATA) is 14 years old and a Freshman at Mesa High School. She started performing in musicals at age 9 and this is her first production with Limelight Performing Arts! Some of her favorite roles have been Annie (Annie Jr.), Cruella DeVil (101 Dalmations Jr.), Cat in the Hat (Seussical the Musical Jr.) Patsy (Spamalot Jr.) and Maureen (Honk, Jr.) She participates in a show choir at FUSE Performing Arts and choir at school. In her free time, she enjoys raising and showing pigs through the 4-H program and competing in the Maricopa County Fair. McKinley Hyatt (ALLANA) is 13 years old and in 8th grade at Poston Jr. High. After watching her older sister perform in musicals, she auditioned for her 1st show and never looked back! This is her first production with Limelight Performing Arts. Some of her favorite roles have been Tink (in an all-original musical, Tink), White Rabbit (Alice in Wonderland Jr.), Veruca Salt (Willy Wonka Jr.) and Dot in (Honk, Jr.) She participates in a show choir at FUSE Performing Arts and in choir at school. When she’s not singing harmony with every song on the radio, you’ll find her teaching her younger sister gymnastics, learning aerial silk tricks or playing with her bunnies. She’d like to thank her family for their support and Limelight for allowing her this opportunity!
Kali Kappes (WINDWARD/CLAM/BUTLER) is eight years old and is in the 2nd grade. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, especially her big brother Kale, participating in shows, singing, coloring, dancing, and performing in Company at Studio 3. She has participated in many shows with Limelight, and her favorite roles include Pigtails in Newsies Jr., Young Nala in The Lion King, Tweedledum in Alice in Wonderland, and in the Children’s Choir in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Kali is very thankful to continue her musical theater journey and would like to thank all of the amazing directors for this wonderful opportunity.
Maeli Kemp (ARIEL – TEEN CAST/WATER DANCER ENSEMBLE – SENIOR CAST) is excited for the opportunity to be Ariel in the Teen cast and Water Dancer in the Senior cast. She is 13 years old and has been performing since age 6. Her favorite roles have been Harriet in Emma A Pop Musical, Nala in Lion King Jr., and Omar and U/S Jasmine in Aladdin Jr. Maeli is so thankful for the support of her friends and family, and the training she has received from her teachers and directors.
Emma Kleniewski (JETSAM/NEWT/CHEF) is so thrilled to be a part of the latest Limelight Performing Arts production, The Little Mermaid. Emma has been involved in preforming arts since she was 3. Some of her favorite roles are Martha Cox in High School Musical 2, Jr. and Mrs. Wormwood in Matilda Jr. Emma would like to give a shout out to everyone who worked so hard to make this show amazing, and special thank you to Emma, Kayla and Christian: “THANK YOU for your patience and support! Eden Lee (WATER ENSEMBLE) is 13 years old and is in 8th grade at Sossaman Middle School. She started dancing at age 5 and currently dances with the Advanced Dance Class at school and in the Senior Company for Freestyle Dance Company. This is her fourth show with Limelight and is thrilled to be part of the cast!
Andrew McGuire (SEBASTIAN/TURTLE/COURTIER) is so happy to be part of The Little Mermaid, and he can’t wait to share what it’s like Under The Sea! Some of his favorite past roles are Gavroche in Les Mis, Bruce in Matilda Jr, Gangster in The Drowsy Chaperone, Fletcher in Freaky Friday, and Children’s Choir in Joseph. Elizabeth Niec (SEBASTIAN/ENSEMBLE) is 11 years old and in 6th grade at Patterson Elementary in Gilbert. When she’s not on stage she enjoys gymnastics, reading and hanging with her friends. Most recently she performed in You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown as ensemble and Sally understudy with AYT. She has been in a few other productions with QCPAC and EVCT. Emily Niec (FLOUNDER/ENSEMBLE) is 9 years old and in 4th grade at Patterson Elementary in Gilbert. When she’s not on stage she enjoys gymnastics, reading and hanging with her friends. Most recently she performed in Matilda Jr. as Matilda Wormwood with INSPIRE Theatre Company. She has been in a few other productions with Queen Creek Performing Arts Center. Scarlette Nuno (FEATURED WATER ENSEMBLE) is 14 years old, a Freshman at Red Mountain High School. Scarlette is so excited to be performing at limelight theater for the first time! She has been in one show previous to this, Shrek Jr. She was in Ensemble and it was so great. She is so thankful to the amazing cast and directors for making this experience so amazing. She would also like to thank her family. They have truly been the best support system anyone could ask for.
Edward Oster (JETSAM/ANGLER/CHEF) is 12 years old and is in the seventh grade attending Lumos Arts Academy. He has performed in several productions with Limelight Productions and Studio 3. His favorite roles include Ugly (Honk JR!), Raymond (Miss Nelson is Missing – Arizoni Nominee), Ben (Descendants), Iago (Aladdin Jr), Young Simba (Lion King Jr), and Ryan (High School Musical 2). Kynzli Parks (TURTLE/COURTIER/CHEF) is 12 years old and in the seventh grade. She enjoys watching Broadway shows at Gammage; her favorite is Hamilton. When she’s not performing, you will still hear her singing broadway tunes while rollerblading around the neighborhood. She also enjoys homemade baking. This is Kynzli’s 6th musical theatre show. Performances include: Moana Jr (ensemble), Broadway Camp Newsies (Finch), Glee (ensemble), High School Musical 2 (Janey Fire), Matilda Jr (Lavender understudy, ensemble), Newsies Jr (Morris Delancey). Adriana Raine (Ensemble) is 9 years old and goes to Meyer Montessori and is in 4th grade She’s on dance company at Studio 3. she has 2 brothers and a dog and loves to dance and has been dancing at Studio 3 for almost 2 years now.
Audra South (FLOUNDER/FEATURED WATER ENSEMBLE) is a 6th grader at Weinberg Gifted Academy in the Chandler Unified School District. Audra trains in competitive dance at Artistic Motion Dance in Gilbert. Her main love is singing and performing in musicals. Some of her favorite past roles have been Jojo in Seussical Jr., Matilda in Matilda, Gavroche in Les Misérables, and The Artful Dodger in Oliver Jr.
Charli Stahlecker (STARFISH/CHEF) is 11 years old and in sixth grade. This is her 5th Limelight production. In addition to theatre, she loves tumbling, cheer, and leaving creative messes everywhere she goes. She would like to thank her family for their support, and to the directors for the opportunity to be in this fun show!
Patrizio Lucian Serrano (SAILOR/COURTIER/ BASS) is 11 years old. His favorite show is “I Love Lucy” and favorite YouTube channel is ”Dhar Mann”. He dances ballet, which is one of the hardest things he has done. Patrizio loves to act, sing and produce shorts for social media.
Lily Tarvin (LEEWARD/CLAM/BUTLER) is a 1st grader at Islands Elementary and this is her first time being in a full show production. She has had so much fun being a part of this cast and Studio.
Davis Sterling (Grimsby/Chef Louis) is 14 years old and a freshman in the IB program at Westwood High school. He loves to act and sing. His most recent roles include Zazu in Lion King and Marius in Les Misérables, where he was nominated for an ariZoni Award for best supporting actor. Thanks especially goes to his mom and dad for supporting him.
Shaun Sullivan (GRIMSBY/CHEF LOUIS/ENSEMBLE) is 16 years old for this show and is currently in the 11th grade. Shaun has been in productions across the valley such as The SpongeBob SquarePants Musical with AZACT and Romeo And Juliet at Desert Vista, He would like to thank his amazing parents for the time and money that they dedicate to these performances. Analisa Torrez (ALLANA/SQUID/MAID/PRINCESS)
is very excited to be in her first ever Limelight Performing Arts production.
It has always been her dream to perform at the MAC and is over the moon to
finally have the chance. She has been singing and acting ever since she was
little and enjoys doing so. Besides performing, she loves to read. Her favorite
book is The Sun and the Star by Rick Riorden and Mark Oshiro. She would like to
be an author and/or television actress.
Chase Wildung (PILOT/SAILOR/COURTIER) is 12 years old and is in the 7th grade. He has been going to studio 3 dance academy for the last 4 years with a focus on acting and musical theater. He has been involved with Childsplay Theater programs. Also performed in limelight’s productions of Freaky Friday as Wells and Pastor Bruno, The Lion King Jr as Timon (jungle cast), High School Musical 2 (Beach Ball cast) as Ryan and most recently Newsies Jr as Albert and Snyder. He is excited to sail on stage with his main roles as the Pilot in the senior cast.
Krysta Wildung (STARFISH/CHEF) is 8 years old and in the 3rd grade. She has been going to studio 3 dance academy for the last 4 years with a focus on dance and musical theater. Krysta has been in limelights production of The Lion King Jr as Shenzi ( jungle cast), High School Musical 2 as Peaches (Beach Ball cast) and is excited to be returning to limelight as Ensemble in The Little Mermaid.
Allie Weid (WATER/RED FISH/CAN CAN) is a sophomore at Desert Ridge High School. She has been acting since she was 8 years old. She is excited to be back on the Limelight stage in Little Mermaid. Her favorite roles include Eponine in Les Mis, Karen Smith in Mean Girls, Matilda in Matilda Jr and Killer Queen in We Will Rock You.
Olivia Williams (LEEWARD/BUTLER/CLAM/) is a 9 year-old ballet dancer and actress who is grateful for the chance to be a part of Disney’s The Little Mermaid! She is very excited for her 1st production with Limelight. Some of Olivia’s favorite roles were playing “Ariel” in Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr., dancing en pointe as “Clara’s Friend” in The Nutcracker with the Youth American Ballet Company, Ensemble in Mary Poppins and recently, filming a Barbie commercial. Olivia enjoys competitive dancing, horseback riding, being creative and acting. Olivia thanks Emma and Limelight for giving her this opportunity and her Mom, Dad and brother Levi for their love and support! And Grandma, for passing on her love of acting!
