PARTICIPATION FEE: $300 and includes a cast shirt and cast photo. Scholarships are available. Application for scholarships are due on the date of your audition.
VOLUNTEER HOURS
The cast will be required to complete volunteer hours for the show, as outlined in the Limelight guide above: What to Expect
WHAT TO PREPARE:
SING – 30 seconds to a minute of any song
ACT – Choose 1 or 2 of the PROVIDED AUDITION MONOLOGUES to perform. These do not need to be memorized.

Get ready to kick off your Sundays shoes with a high-energy musical that will have you dancing in your seats as a group of teens fights to bring music and movement back to their town! 🎶👟
CASTING AGES 12-18 *This show will be double cast by age group and will include an ensemble.

PARTICIPATION FEE: $300 and includes a cast shirt and cast photo. Scholarships are available. Application for scholarships are due on the date of your audition. Adults post-high school do not have to pay a production fee. Instead, we charge a $150 deposit which will be refunded when volunteer hours are completed.

CASTING AGES 4-15 EVERYONE WHO SIGNS UP GETS A ROLE (NO CUT PRODUCTION)
- AUDITIONS by video due Friday, May 16
- AUDITIONS in person Saturday, May 17
- NO AUDITION is required for performers wishing to be in in the ensemble only.
- There will be no CALLBACKS for this show.
- FIRST REHEARSAL & PARENT INFO MEETING: June 10 or 11
- REHEARSALS: Choose Tuesdays 4:30-6:30pm OR Wednesdays 5:00-7:00pm
- PERFORMANCE(S) AT MESA ARTS CENTER: August 16
This class meets once per week, and learns a full musical theatre production which is performed at the Mesa Arts Center in August. Everyone who signs up gets a role! Show title will be announced very soon….We’re bringing a heartwarming tale to the stage about an orphan with unstoppable optimism, a lovable dog, and a billionaire who changes her life forever!
Tuesdays 4:30-6:30pm ages 4-12 ($249)
Classes meet Tuesdays June 10, 17, 24, July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, August 5, 12
and one Wednesday – August 13.
Wednesdays 5:30-7:30pm ages 4-12 ($249)
Classes meet Wednesdays June 11, 18, 25, July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, August 6, 13
Tickets to performances are $15 each and are not included in tuition.
A costume list will be provided. Certain costumes will be brought from home, and others will be loaned by Studio 3. Students are expected to provide their own shoes and tan leotard to wear under costume changes
There are no volunteer hours required for this production.
